The studio lately ✨

I am now full steam ahead in preparation for Pittenweem Arts Festival. It's only 6 weeks away and that's not long in a pottery studio. Sensibly I started prep for this before Potfest so am feeling quite organised right now.

This week I'm also finishing up a wee order for Laura Provan Jewellery, and working on orders for themoderncroft and Iona Craft Shop, as well as a wee commission.

There may also be a wee shop update coming soon, and an in-person seconds and samples sale - watch this space!

A little Workspace Wednesday with ✨

Emma is a potter based in Glasgow, who creates hand-built, one of a kind ceramic homewares. How lovely is the light in her studio? 😍

You'll find Studio Yōki at .co.uk at Scone Palace this weekend (along with some of my other lovely clients).

Last month I had a lovely visit from to get some head shots taken.

I've been meaning to post them for ages, but these kinds of photos always seem to go hand in hand with a re-introduction of who I am and what I do.

But the studio is hectic at the moment and I haven't had the chance.

With only two firings left before .co.uk Scone Palace the studio is full of finished work waiting to be priced and packed. I love this stage of the making cycle when you can finally see all your hard work come to fruition.

I've only just realised fruition has the word fruit in it. And now it looks weird.
