Community Exercise Class at Mount Vernon Bowling and Tennis Club

stretching, strengthening with resistance bands and some meditation - tailored to all levels and abilities!

Making a difference to our community and getting older adults out and active and socialising with exercise instructor Chris.

Everyone is welcome - even non-members, you can pay as you go £5 or block book monthly £15.

Hi all 🙋🏻‍♀️🙋🏻‍♂️ It's true - Tuesday Night Training is coming back to Barrachnie Park 🎉🎊🥳 It feels so great to be back on home turf training again in the summer sunshine 🌞 (We're trying to aspire or manifest summer sunshine in our futures 😆). Being home obviously means we're back to our regular training times so we can all play, train & hang out together 😊

6.30pm 🕡 Barrachnie Park, all kids in Pr. 1 & above are welcome along to have a try 😊

Water bottles/Drinks are an absolute must‼️ Safety & hydration are a priority for us 🚰 We will also have a bottle of Suncream should anyone need it🧴

Our clubhouse & toilets 🚻 are open (just make sure to double check with the coaches/volunteers to that they have loo rolls 🧻)

We're recommending t-shirts & shorts/trackies for those who don't have their strips yet 😊 (check our website link below for more details)

Covid, colds, flu etc are always lurking about & doing the rounds - if you have any symptoms or have been around anyone who has, please stay home & respect the health, safety & wellbeing of our little group ❤️

We're also asking everyone to make sure the kids are registered, either as a new player tryout or as a team member for our previous players ✔️

Please also ask the kids to remember to come to whomever is doing the register to get marked in, it's important for their safety & insurance purposes 😊

Hopefully the sunny weather is just round the corner which makes it a shame that vandals have targeted the picnic benches in Mount Vernon Park over the last few weeks.

We're Back 🎉🥳🎊 Hi everyone how are we all doing? All good, happy & healthy we hope🤞Who's excited for our first training of 2023‼️We're so excited to see everyone back with us again 😊 Here's all the details so far‼️
(Just to reaffirm Tuesday night training will be at Barlanark Community Centre & Sunday training will be at Barrachnie Park)
🔴We have the downstairs gym hall from 6.30 pm-7.30 pm every Tuesday at Barlanark Community Centre.
🔴Parents are asked to drop kids off & return to pick up at 7.30 pm or remain in the car park due to a lack of safe space for everyone to stay. Please make yourself visible to an adult at pick up as we won't be letting the kids leave without an adult.
🔴We have been given access to the side entrance again‼️When you arrive at the main building's front doors turn to your right & follow the path round until you meet the gate, take a left & follow it down to the open door. The same at the end of training when we will bring the children to the doors to be picked up so please be visible.
🔴Please arrive early if at all possible.
🔴A donation of £1 per session will contribute to the cost of the hall.
🔴Toilets are available at the centre but we ask for kids to be refreshed before arrival to limit distractions. A committee member will be available to wait in the hall for them. No child will be left unsupervised.
🔴Please bring trainers for training instead of boots or studs. Water bottles are still a must.
🔴We are practising strict hand hygiene 👋🧴before, during & after the practice's as respect of everyone's health so please remind the kids to get a skoosh from the bottles on the table! Thank You 😊
🔴We understand that not everyone will be able to make the new location due to distance, work, home life etc. We don't expect full attendance.
