Heeyy, it has been a LONG time since we've posted, given the reopening of venues there has been less of a need for our platform
However, we've been asked to organise a fundraiser gig in order for Saracen Primary to be able to afford new mics and intruments. Now, that's a cause worth working for!!
We are urgently looking to book a couple of acts to play on the night! Please DM us if you're interested or help us by sharing the poster! Looking to finalise the line up ASAP.
Statement from the school:
"The kids at Saracen Primary are an amazing group and they deserve amazing equipment. Sadly this isn't always possible, despite the incredibly resourceful staff. The recent Tony Award worthy Christmas show, whilst wowing the critics, was kept going by a borrowed microphone held together by gaffa tape. We're raising funds to provide the kids with their own microphones, as well as instruments to help enable and inspire the next generation of Glasgow's musicians and performers. There will also be a fantastic night of music to raise funds at Room 2 (69 Nelson Mandela Place, Glasgow) on the 27th of January. 7pm onwards, £5 entry.
