HOW YOU CAN SUPPORT FLOS FOR FREE (like actually free) 🖤

We’ve signed up to - which means when you shop online, brands donate to us at no extra cost to you! Woo!

And to be real for a sec:

We know not everyone has spare money to donate right now.
We also know a lot of people are trying to consume less.

This is a way to support us without spending anything extra.

It also isn’t just “shopping” - it works with things like Trainline, Booking.com, even groceries!
So if you travel, book trains, or stay away, you can still support without changing your habits.

Money raised goes straight back into what we do:
paying artists, keeping things accessible, and making projects happen.

It takes 2 minutes to set up, then you just carry on as normal.

We can’t wait to share our short film documenting SPLINTR Festival 2025 with you all on Monday.

GXRLS MAKE GLASGOW: From Fragments to Festival offers a 13-minute look behind the scenes at the labour and collective effort that made the weekend possible, while highlighting the continued need for spaces that centre women, trans and gender non-conforming artists.

It’s IWD weekend! We feel like that’s right moment to look back for a sec 🧡

These photos are just a small snapshot of the women, trans and gender-diverse artists we’ve had the privilege of working with since starting Flos - and honestly the talent in this community is wild.

One of the best things about Glasgow is how collaborative the scene is. When we were starting out, people who were way more established than us still took the time to give advice, share resources, or just say “yeah, go for it.” That generosity really shaped how we think about building spaces.

Flos exists because spaces like this are still needed - places where marginalised genders can experiment, try things out, and take up space without apology.

As we grow, we want to keep that same energy going: backing artists who deserve more attention, creating opportunities, and passing the mic forward whenever we can.

Huge love to every artist, collaborator and audience member who has been part of it so far.

BREAKLINE 🖤

Curated by as part of SPLINTR Festival 2025, this night was a reminder of why we do what we do.

Flos is an emerging, artist-led collective, and getting to work with artists who are building something bold and uncompromising in real time is such a privilege. Adéráyọ̀ came through with a clear vision, serious intention, and a line-up that proved (once again) that Glasgow’s talent pool is deep. ✨

There’s something powerful about coming up together. About commissioning artists who deserve more eyes on them. About saying, “Here’s the space - go wild,” and watching what unfolds.

As we grow, we want to keep backing artists who are shaping the scene right now. Glasgow is stacked with talent and we're so grateful to be able to platform it. 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿

Huge love to Adéráyọ̀ for building this world with us, and to every artist and audience member who brought their energy!

📸 A huge shout out to for capturing this night ❤️

March marks the beginning of Women’s History Month - a moment to celebrate progress, but also to be honest about where we are.

Alongside extraordinary feminist organising and cultural leadership, we’re also seeing a documented rise in online misogyny, “red-pill” rhetoric, and reactionary narratives that target young men and boys. These movements don’t just live in comment sections - they shape how people understand gender, power and belonging.

That context matters.

At Flos Collective, our work exists because safe, ambitious, creative spaces for women, trans and gender-diverse people are still necessary. Not as exclusive bubbles - but as environments where people of marginalised genders can lead, experiment, fail, succeed, and define excellence on their own terms.

We believe that when you centre those most often sidelined, the work becomes richer. The culture becomes more interesting. The outcomes become more equitable.

Importantly, this isn’t about exclusion. We welcome men into our spaces - not as the default audience, but as participants willing to engage with and witness the creativity, leadership and brilliance that emerges when marginalised genders are centred.

Equality isn’t a zero-sum game. We move forward together, or not at all.
