Exhibition open! Very exciting. ☺️ Open until 7:00pm this evening and then 12:00-4:00pm for the next 7 days.

Delighted to have some of my screen print on fabric artwork included in an exhibition and you are all invited to the preview tomorrow, Thursday 26th June 2:00-7:00pm. The exhibition is then open from 27th June until 3rd July 12:00-4:00pm. “This Is Us, All Together” exhibition is being held at 16 Collective, 173 Trongate, Glasgow.

This drawing is a favourite. It was about 4 months in the making and has been in my living room for ages. I never thought I would be able to part with it but I have recently SOLD it! My good friend has bought it. I’m happy to see it go to its new home….especially as I know I can visit it! I recently visited the Cotswolds, which was where I was born, and driving through Painswick I was reminded of all the memories I have of this pretty town and realised why I enjoyed drawing these houses as they meandered down the hill side. Screen printing today with Print Club . Busy making a background for a poster that will promote our summer exhibition. As usual I’ve clogged the screen up with gold ink! 😬😂🤣 I’ll keep you posted on the (still to be confirmed) date for the exhibition.

Playtime with masking fluid, liquid ink, paint brush, and dippy pen, as well as my usual fine liner pens. It turned into a drawing of water (I think!). Enjoyable to play with the different layers. Note to self….don’t wear white top when playing with black ink!😂🤣

About 5 hours work…….now time to add leaves 🍃 😳My eyes are too sore, going to wait until after the weekend. Have a great weekend everyone.

Correct, it’s not a house (although there will be a tiny house in the background) it’s a tree in a landscape and this art work is a lot bigger than my usual work (chair in photo for scale!)There will also be a figure in the foreground too. The last photo is an A3 sketch I was working on last year…..but it’s time to scale it up! I’ll keep posting WIP but this is likely to take a while to finish!!

Hello! Yes, I know. I’ve been away for ages! All through October and November I was working on a commission which I couldn’t share…but here it is now. A house in rural France and a photo of the drawing I did from the other side of the building almost 4 years ago! 😳 Just shows how much my work has changed (and improved!!) over time.

My view from our meditation and breath work on the beach this morning. Beautiful and peaceful. And a photo of my toes in the loch to prove I did go in. Stayed in the water for about 25mins, swam a little too! Freezing!!
