An indie pop happening in the heart of the West End of Glasgow! 14-15 August 2026 at the GUU Debates Chamber!

We’re so thrilled to once again be working with Glasgow Music City Tours as they host another bespoke walking tour inspired by locations relevant to Glasgow’s indie scene we know and love so well!

The tour will start at 2pm on Friday 14th August and last approximately 2 hours - leaving just enough time to get to the GUU for 5pm doors! Cost is £15 plus fees, reflecting a 15% discount on their standard Music Mile tour. Wahey! Tickets are on sale now and available at the link in bio.

This tour sold out last year and received great reviews from several guests who attended! A lovely opportunity to explore the city through an indie music lens. 🎸

Three years ago we invited James Kirk & Warren Starry Sky to join the 2023 GGP festival line up, and what a lovely relationship we’ve forged since then! We presented a show at Mono the following December, and released their very first single last year - now under the moniker Warren James - as GGP001! A glorious wee platter of pop goodness.

Now, we’re honoured to host their album release party on Thursday 9th July at Mono. ‘Tales From Film City’ is released on 26th June by the good folks at Spinout Nuggets and showcases the evolution of the fruitful musical partnership of James and Warren. Special guests still TBA!

** £10 early bird tickets will be on sale from 10am on Thursday 11th June for 48 hours only! Tickets will be £14 thereafter. **

Big thanks to The Loft for coming to us with the brilliant idea of a Glasgow matinee show as a benefit for HOPE not hate while they would already be up north for their Edinburgh gig. And special thanks to Gerard Love with Tom Crossley and to Supersun for agreeing to take part! 😍 It was an incredible afternoon of the best vibes and the best music. Between ticket sales and The Loft donating a portion of their merch profits, we’re delighted to announce we raised over £1100 for the charity in their fight against the rise of the far right. ✊🏼 We’re grateful to have a platform to help in any little way we can. ☮️

It looks like the rain is coming back to Glasgow on Saturday, so come inside the Glad Cafe and enjoy the lush and dreamy sounds of Radhika, kicking off the night in support of Would-Be-Goods. She’s just released her debut album, Cine-Pop, and it’s a true work of art and beauty from a young artist with a creative vision beyond her years. ✨ Featuring indie luminaries Mitch Mitchell from The Pastels, Gerard Love from Lightships/Teenage Fanclub and Tracyanne Campbell from Camera Obscura, the record clearly reflects their soft touches alongside the deep influence of her Indian heritage. Radhika says the album is best experienced in a dark room, but we can confirm it’s just as beguiling in the sunshine. 😍

We don’t mean to rub it in because we know the show is sold out already, but we’re thrilled to announce our surprise guest for Sunday’s HOPE not hate benefit show is none other than the mighty Loft!! Pinch us! What a line up. 🔥

Don’t fret, however, you CAN still catch them in Edinburgh at the Voodoo Rooms on Saturday night! They’re touring in support of their latest gorgeous LP, Badges, which has been getting rave reviews all over the place. How lucky are we to live in a timeline when The Loft got back together and were even better than ever! 😍

Just over a week away until we’re charmed once again by the delightful Would-Be-Goods! They released their latest album, ‘Tears Before Bedtime,’ earlier this year on Skep Wax Records and it’s another winner, chock full of sweet melodies, cerebral songwriting and exquisite arrangements. We’re delighted to welcome singer/songwriter Jessica Griffin and her superstar band - Peter Momtchiloff (Heavenly, Talulah Gosh), Debbie Greensmith (Thee Headcoatees) and Andy Warren (The Monochrome Set, Adam and the Ants) - back to Glasgow for what will surely be an unforgettable night of elegant pop. 😍

Way back in 2023, the first individual show we promoted outwith our festival was Chris Stamey at the Glad Cafe. When we were approached about it, we couldn't pass up the chance as we're both big fans of his work both with The dB's and solo. And thus, Glas-Goes Pop Presents was born!!!

Unfortunately we couldn't host him this time round, but the fine folks at Pop Mutations will be looking after him. Highly recommend checking out this songwriter extraordinaire with his distinctive vocal stylings and good vibes. He's passing through the UK after three triumphant shows with The Big Star Quintet in Ireland last week. Catch him on the 15th of May at our fave hang, The Glad Cafe. Top shelf stuff. 😎
