Yesterday evening we were delighted to host The Kirkintilloch Band Ensemble for a fundraising concert for their forthcoming trip to London to compete in the National Brass Band Championship in the Royal Albert Hall.
We were given a wonderfully varied programme which rang round the rafters and demonstrated the glorious acoustic of our beautiful church, St Cyprian's Church, Lenzie.
We wish the whole band much success at the Championship and look forward to hearing how you get on!
You can hear the whole band on Friday 19th June at their concert in St.Ninian’s High School.

Please support your amazing local brass band. They are fundraising for a trip to London where they are representing Scotland in the National Finals of the Brass Band Championships.

Yesterday evening we had the final concert in our winter series here at St. Cyprian’s. We were delighted to welcome back Calum Huggan with a varied programme of music for marimba and vibraphone. He was joined by soprano Laura Curran to add even more colour to the evening.
It was great to see lots of new faces in the audience.
Although this was the last concert in the series, we are hosting The Kirkintilloch Band for a concert on Saturday 13th June. This is a fundraiser for their trip to the Royal Albert Hall for the National Brass Band Championship Finals in October.
