✨ Meet the Artist - Samrat Majumder ✨

Three weeks today, we'll be welcoming Samrat Majumder to Partickhill bowling club! Samrat is a Scottish-Indian guitarist whose artistry bridges continents, traditions, and generations. Rooted in both Scottish and Indian influences, his playing blends precision with poetry, honouring the classical canon while shaping a voice distinctly his own.

From his studies at the Peabody Institute to international acclaim as a Young Classical Artists Trust artist and one of Classic FM’s Rising Stars, Samrat’s journey reflects a deep commitment to craft, collaboration, and cultural connection.

Beyond the stage, his work is just as impactful, devoting his time to mentoring young guitarists, building bridges between Europe and India, and reimagining where and how classical music can live.

Join us at Partickhill Bowling and Community Club at 4pm on 25 May, and experience the magic of live music surrounded by the green heart of Glasgow. 🌿
