Ever thought about starting a line dance class⌠then immediately talked yourself out of it after scrolling TikTok? đ
Im sure a lot of people feel the same.
Every time I see a line dance video pop up, itâs all high-energy routines, dramatic spins, sky-high kicks, and dancers in hot pants looking like theyâve just stepped off a music video set. And I sit there thinking, âWell⌠thatâs not me, my vibe or what our classes look like.â
Donât get me wrong â they look amazing! But it can make you feel like you need Olympic-level fitness, flawless coordination, and a wardrobe I definitely donât own just to walk through the door. It can be off putting for some people, i know that style is not for me. My vibe? 90s country.
Think boots, denim, a bit of sass, and that feel-good soundtrack we all secretly (or not so secretly) still love. Weâre talking the kind of songs that make you want to clap on the off beat and shout âYeehawâ without even meaning to.IItâs regular people, learning step by step, laughing when we go the wrong way, building confidence, and getting a bit fitter along the way. No pressure to kick your leg above your head. No requirement to spin like a professional. And absolutely no hot pants required.
Just good music, good company, and a bit of fun.
So if youâve been hovering over that âsign upâ button but feeling intimidated by what you see online â even down to some of the music choices. I hear you, i am a 45 year old mum of 2 who had very little friends and no hobbies, so my classes were born.

If youâve been put off by those viral videos â donât be. This is line dancing with a 90s country heart. đ¤
Whoâs dusting off their boots with me? đ˘
