Josie Girgis, loves taking deep dives into genres such as folk, metal,
prog, funk and jazz (of course!) and her music reflects this. If you

12 June : London based QOW trio, features three of the most sought after musicians on the UK scene today, the incomparable Spike Wells who has worked with worked with many visiting soloists at Ronnie Scott’s Jazz Club, including Stan Getz, Warne Marsh, Tubby Hayes, Benny Golson, Blossom Dearie, Dexter Gordon, Roland Kirk, Art Farmer, Johnny Griffin and James Moody.  Tenor saxophonist Riley Stone Lonergan’s primary focus as a music creator is improvisation, the element of jazz that brings him the most joy and is a regular on the London scene appearing with the capital’s finest musicians. Eddie Meyer has performed around the world in a variety of settings from rock to Afro-Cuban music - QOW TRIO enables him to express his love of the jazz tradition and bassists such as Israel Crosby, Henry Grimes, George Tucker and Richard Davis.

We welcome back Aspyrian to the JATG stage! With three album releases (including a live album recorded at their last performance with us) two awards from Help Musicians and over 50 performance dates to their name, Aspyrian are rapidly establishing themselves as one of the most ambitious new acts on the UK jazz scene.

Drawing inspiration from contemporary jazz artists as well as an eclectic mix of soulful songwriters and alternative bands, the London-based trio have crafted a sound that is both captivating and distinctive – blending intricate composition with rich improvisation and immersive textures. The band features:

Robin Porter – Saxophones & Effects
Jack Gillen – Guitar & Effects
Matt Parkinson – Drums

Led by Hong Kong-born composer and keyboardist TC. KYLIE, the band merges Eastern and Western influences, drawing from Tokyo’s vibrant jazz scene, nostalgic 8-bit game music, and London’s soulful edge.

With a European tour and gigs at venues such as Ronnie Scott’s under their belt, this is sure to be unique and unmissable!
