Dame Davey Jay is a sharp-tongued Scottish comic and writer who regails tales of childhood, masculinity, identity and Scottish culture while finding rhythm in both language and everyday life. Whether he’s being compared to Lady Diana or seductively eating bananas, he leans fully into the absurd.

Loud, unpredictable and painfully funny, his comedy feels like getting trapped in a taxi with a man manifesting a mental breakdown so maticulously you never want the ride to end.

First up for the September 11th Panopticon Comedy night is Trevor Brennan.

Trevor Brennan is a self-proclaimed sh***er and stand-up comedian…noone has ever substantiated these claims. He completed his first ever wordle in one go and retired from the game as he’d achieved his magnum opus. Some say his career and life trajectory have been on a downward spiral ever since which is why he’s turned to stand up comedy. Those people would be right.
