Girton Feast Week

The marquee is up, the beer tent is being assembled and the children's rides and first food truck have arrived! In the next couple of hours "This is Queen" arrives and the chairs go into the marquee! Online ticket sales close shortly but there are still some tickets for tonight to buy "on the door"!

Some people have been asking if we will have chairs in the Marquee for "This is Queen" on Friday night. Yes, we will! These are photos of the marquee from last year. This year's marquee is a little bigger, so there will be more chairs, but we are also leaving a space at the front for dancing! The final photo is the view of the Planet ABBA concert last year, viewed from the beer tent!

The Recreation Ground is a big empty space at the moment ... but by the end of Friday it will be filling up with food vans, a marquee for entertainers (including our Queen tribute band on Friday), beer tent and lots of people! By 11am on Saturday there will be almost 60 stalls, rides and sports and even more food outlets!
