Island Dance Academy

Island Dance Academy Based at Brompton Academy, Gillingham. Serving Gillingham, Chatham and surrounding areas. Regular examinations are held in BATD and IDTA.

Childrens classes held in Ballet, Tap, Jazz, Contemporary, Musical Theatre and Street. Academy students have performed at Her Majesty's Theatre and Shaftesbury Theatres in London and many local theatres. Our in house productions are staged every 2 to 3 years. All teachers are qualified and hold valid DBS checks.

We are so proud of Elsie, who has been offered a full time place at Elmhurst Ballet School💜

Elmhurst is one of the UK’s top ballet schools, so this is an incredible achievement!

Elsie will be joining the school in Year 7 this September! She has trained with IDA since the age of 4, and it has been a joy to watch her grow into such a talented dancer.

We would like to wish Elsie all the very best of luck for her future career in ballet🩰
