Priel Azar Artist Contemporary artist based in Israel

פריאל עזר, ילידת 1989, חיה ויוצרת בפרדס חנה-כרכור, ישראל.
בוגרת לימודי תואר ראשון B.Ed.F.A מטעם ה"מדרשה לאמנות בית-ברל", מסלול מצטיינים (2017) ולימודי אמנות במסגרות עצמאיות אצל אמיר שפט (2019-עד היום), אלי שמיר (2019) ומרגו גראן (2012-2015).

גוף עבודותיה מורכב מציורים גדולי ממדים בצבעי שמן על בד, בצבעוניות רוויה ומגוונת, המשלבים דימויים של תפנימים וטבע דומם. לעיתים, היא משלבת מייצבים המורכבים מ

ציור ואובייקטים, עבודות פיסול ווידאו. עבודותיה עוסקות במרחב הביתי וסביבתו; הבית כחלל המשקף אנושיות ואינדיבידואליות וכן תרבות, מסורת וסגנון חיים. כבת לאם ממוצא טוניסאי ואב ממוצא פרסי, היא מושפעת מהאסתטיקה של עדות המזרח, ומסורת אריגת השטיחים שהייתה מקור פרנסתה העיקרי של משפחתה באיראן. האסתטיקה המסורתית לצד הפנמת הזהות הישראלית והזרות שפיתחו בארץ מהווים השראה ליצירתה.

הציור מאפשר ליצור סביבה מדומיינת ומבוססת מציאות בו זמנית; להתבונן במציאות ולעסוק בשפה הפנים אמנותית. אשר מורכבת מאלמנטים של ריק וגודש, משחקיות וניכור, שימור של הישן בתוך החדש, עיסוק ביופי, בחיים ובהנצחה של החולף.

בשנת 2016 מהלך לימודי התואר השתתפה בחילופי סטודנטים בפקולטה לאמנות של האוניברסיטה הפדגוגית קרקוב, שבפולין. במסגרת השהות השתתפה בפרויקט ""Tangent בסיומו הציגה בתערוכה הקבוצתית ״זהות – מסורת - טריטוריה ומקום״ (אוצר: Krzysztof Siatka). כמו כן, בשנת 2019 השתתפה בתערוכה ״אמנים בסטודיו של אלי שמיר״, בגלריה לאמנות ישראלית במרכז ההנצחה טבעון (אוצרת ד״ר שחר מרנין דיסטלפלד).

I’m honored and excited to take part in a group exhibition, opening today at the Supreme Court of Israel, curated by Dr Orna Yair.
The exhibition seeks to present multiculturalism in Israel, on the ethnic, geographic and national diversity spectrum. It reflects an individual point of view and social reference to a culture and the environment.

שמחה וגאה להשתתף בתערוכה ״גוף ראשון, רבים״ באוצרות ד״ר אורנה יאיר, שתיפתח הערב בשעה 18:00 במוזיאון מורשת בתי המשפט, ביה״מ העליון ירושלים.
התערוכה עוסקת ברב תרבותיות בישראל, על הגיוון העדתי, גיאוגרפי והלאומי שבה. באופן המשקף את נקודת המבט האישית של כל אמן אך גם את הרפרנס החברתי - השייכות לתרבות ולסביבה.

תזמון מאוד מדויק יש לתערוכה הזאת, בפתיחת השנה החדשה. וזוהי הזדמנות בשבילי לשאת תפילה שכל אחד ואחת מאיתנו, נצליח לראות את המאחד ולא את המפריד ביננו.

עוד יומיים נשארו לחוויה הזאת שנקראת ״צבע טרי״.
יש כאן כלכך הרבה אמנים מוכשרים - בחממת האמנים שבה אנחנו 32 אמנים מכל סוגי המדיה והיצירה, במתחם הגלריות יש עבודות של אמנים יותר ותיקים בתחום ובמתחם העיצוב זאת בכלל חגיגה של אובייקטים, צבעים ועוד דברים שתצטרכו להגיע כדי לראות!
אהיה שם מחר מהבוקר (פתוח 10:00-20:00) ובראשון שזה היום האחרון, 16:00-22:00

‏A closer look at the painting "Heritage(3)"; Part of a new series I’ve been working on recently.
‏The paintings are inspired by objects that have been passed down from generation to generation among women in my family, from one land to another (Tunisia, Iran, Israel - my countries of origin).
