Today was the funeral of one of our long time favourite regulars, Ronnie Kirtley ❤️
I/We had the pleasure of serving Ronnie for many years when I first started at Wardley Club 13 years ago. He was a lovely soul with a great sense of humour, quite witty at times too, we also shared many laughs across the bar over the years.
After Covid, Ronnie stopped coming into the club apart from the odd occasion, but he was never forgotten. He was a familiar face and a valued part of our Wardley Club family.
It was very sad to hear of his passing, but we take comfort in knowing he is now at peace.
Our thoughts are with Ronnie's family and friends at this difficult time.
You will be greatly missed, Ronnie.

A truly remarkable woman with the kindest heart, the strongest spirit, and a smile that could light up any room. Joan was a fighter through and through, facing life with courage, grace, and endless strength. She cared deeply for everyone around her and touched so many lives with her warmth, kindness, and unforgettable presence.

The Wardley Club will never be the same without her. She was more than part of our club family — she was at the heart of it. Joan will always be remembered with love, laughter, and the happiest memories shared by all who knew her.
