🎭 SUMMER DRAMA CLUB IS BACK! 🎭

Looking for a fun, creative and confidence-building activity for your child this summer?

Join professional actor and playwright David Raynor for an exciting week where young people aged 8–14 will create, rehearse and perform their very own original play in just five days!

Through games, drama exercises, teamwork and plenty of imagination, participants will develop confidence, communication skills, creativity and lasting friendships – all while having a fantastic time on stage.

After a fantastic week of performances, we reach our final show on 13th June. Audiences have been moved, challenged, and thoroughly engaged by this remarkable drama based on true events.

We recently shared a post about a missing person, a member of the Progressive Players and a regular face at the Little Theatre. We're delighted to hear that our friend has been found and is safe.

💙 MISSING – NATHAN BUTTERFIELD 💙

Nathan’s family, along with all of his fellow Progressive Players friends, are extremely worried about him and just want him to get in touch and come home safely.

Nathan has been missing since approximately 8:30am yesterday morning (Thursday 4th June) and was last seen on his way to work. As each hour passes, concern for his welfare continues to grow.

To those of us who know him through Progressive Players, Nathan is more than just a member – he is a fabulous friend, a kind soul, and someone who means a great deal to so many people.

Please note that Nathan no longer has the beard shown in some photographs and is now only sporting a moustache.

We are asking everyone to please share this post as widely as possible. The more people who see it, the better the chance of helping Nathan get home safely where he belongs.

If you have any information at all, however small it may seem, please send a private message via Messenger.

🙏 Nathan, if you see this, please just get in touch and let someone know you are safe. No questions, no pressure – we simply want to know that you’re OK.

Another set-build is well under way! This time it’s for Murder Story by Ludovic Kennedy and based on true events.

The life of the Tanner family is turned upside down when their son, Jim, is sentenced to death for the murder of PC Albert Tomkins. And whilst in prison Jim is looked after by two kind officers and even learns to read.
Written by Ludovic Kennedy , who was very much against the death penalty. We see the torment Jim’s family goes through and the impact on a “simple lad” who is accused of a terrible crime.
