Our Angel is 25 on Wednesday - we think the animation created by our Art Diamonds in partnership with Digital Voice and artists Laura Crow and Susan Mulholland, is a fitting tribute to our iconic landmark.

To mark the Of The North 25th birthday our iconic landmark is going back to school.

Following the success of our Angel Adventures in 2018, knitted Angels of the North will once again be going on their travels with local school children.

Thank you to members of our Art Diamonds and our Gateshead Central Library knitting group for making this possible. We can't wait to see where our mini Angels are taken.

Stage 6 of the The Tour Of Britain sponsored by AJ Bell will finish at the Angel of the North on Friday.

Please come down to support the riders along the route but remember there will be road closures and bus diversions in place throughout the day. Parking at the Angel of the North will also be unavailable on Friday.
