New studio team member due January 🧡
A little pregnancy/fertility heads-up…

Now that the new studio is open, both studios are back into some sort of flow and I’m finally feeling a little more human, I thought I’d share something a bit personal.
I’m currently the owner, manager, social media person, email and message responder, HR department, kiln tech, decision maker, IT support, joiner, electrician, painter, cleaner… and the list goes on… for both the Low Fell and North Shields studios.
But it turns out growing a whole human being makes quite a few of those jobs a little harder to do!
So, if it takes me a little longer than usual to reply to messages or emails, please bear with me. I’ve also updated our FAQ section on the website, so please have a look there before messaging — it might save you (and me!) a bit of time.
We’re still aiming to get your masterpieces back to you within 10 days (usually 3–5), but as I get bigger, I may reach a point where I can no longer reach the bottoms of the kilns so I’ll keep you updated if anything changes.
Once the holidays are over, you may not see quite as much of me around the studios. I’ll be focusing on keeping up with all the admin and behind the scenes work that comes with running a business, while my absolutely incredible, lovely, amazing team keep everything running at the studios.
If there are any big changes within the business, I’ll keep you all updated. But for now, I’m just asking for a little bit of grace and patience. I’m figuring this all out for the first time, just like we all do, and I’m doing my best to keep everything running while also growing a tiny human, as a control freak this is already testing me!
So our newest member of the studio team will be joining us in January… although I suspect they won’t be much help for a little while!
