WHAT IS THIS FEELING?????

We can tell you what it is...... It is the utter joy felt by over 400 people on Saturday night when they sang or watched our "SHOWTIME" concert in Newcastle. What an absolutely WICKED concert on Saturday night at Northern Stage !!!

Congratulations to all involved, it was a TRIUMPH! It goes to show that anyone with a voice, can join New Horizon Choir and twelve weeks later, with the help of our wonderful Musical Director, Timothy Allen, our excellent learning materials and support from your peers, you can produce INCREDIBLE music together.

IT'S SHOWTIME!!

You are in for a real treat with this one. We're really happy to announce that tickets are on sale for our "Showtime" concert this July at Northern Stage.

Come join us on Saturday the 25th at 7:30 pm for a concert of Musical Theatre songs that spans the breadth from the earliest days of the modern musical (1927’s Showboat), to shows from the last decade or so (Come From Away, Dear Evan Hansen). We have classics from both “Golden Ages” of musicals – the Rogers & Hammerstein era, and the heyday of the 1980s. Massive hits like The Lion King and Les Misérables are side-by-side with perhaps less well-known gems, including songs from Sondheim’s Merrily We Roll Along or Alan Menken’s musical adaptation of Sister Act. - All woven in to choir arrangements. If you’re a fan of showtunes, this is the concert for you!

We're really excited to announce that tickets for our Spring concerts "Happy Together" are now on sale.

We have an eclectic mix of songs for you including some Mozart, American gospel and an EPIC ABBA medley to get you dancing in the aisles!

We've been working really hard and can't wait to share our efforts with you all.

Concerts are on Friday 27th March at 7:30pm and Saturday 28th March at 1pm at Emmanuel College - Gateshead

Well, what a fabulous couple of concerts we've had this weekend! Thank you to our fantastic singers and audience for making both concerts so enjoyable. The sound we made together was incredible and the feedback we're continuing to receive from audience members, just goes to prove that all the passion and energy that you put into learning and performing the songs, is so worth it.

Thanks also go to the facilities team at Emmanuel College - Gateshead for supporting us so fantastically throughout the weekend, we couldn't do it with out you.

With just over a week to go until we hold our Christmas concerts at Emmanuel College - Gateshead - The choir are sounding fantastic, it's definitely going to get you in the festive mood.
