Just a little update. We have a viewing booked in tomorrow on a potential new premises in Blaydon which is 6,000 sq ft so plenty of space for what we’re wanting to do. Fingers crossed that it’s exactly what we need 🤞🏼🙏🏼

Hi all,

Just a little update with regards to the shop. Unfortunately the project downstairs has fallen through after being rejected by the freeholders completely, this is no fault of our own but the fault of the landlord for not applying for permission for the change of use or for the work we’ve done to date until literally a few months ago.

As you can understand I’m feeling very deflated and frustrated by what’s happened as I’ve put 12 months of my own time, energy and money into the project for it to now completely fall apart after being constantly reassured 2 of the 3 business proposals would be approved. I can’t comment much more at the min unfortunately.

On a positive note we are actively looking for a large premises elsewhere so our plans for the business remain the same but will just be from a new location once we’ve found a suitable premises.

We’ve identified a couple of large potential units in Blaydon and Dunston so waiting on responses from the estate agents for our proposed usage. We will keep you all updated once we have further details.

👾 Announcement 👾

We’ve decided the time is right to close our current shop permanently in preparation for the work starting on the new unit downstairs, after a meeting with the landlord last week we were assured we would be getting the green light any day now from the freeholders🤞🏼

We were originally hoping to be in the new shop well before now after the work we’d put into stripping the space out, unfortunately things have taken a lot longer than we expected but this was completely out of our hands and also the landlords hands.

We massively outgrew the current space over a year ago, after initially just taking the space on as an online business we were blown away by how quickly the business grew and how popular the shop had become. With the business growing so quick we also started taking on insane amounts of stock that have completely overwhelmed us to the point it’s become exhausting, we currently have stock spread across 3 huge storage units out back plus the shop and 2 further offices upstairs and has come become so time consuming moving, sorting and cleaning stock to go into the shop, our time will now be better spent sorting stock and packing it up ready to move.

GOOD NEWS!

The guys over at Madhouse Media Ltd have done an awesome job on our new website which should go live this week once we’ve started uploading stock onto the site. We will also be offering a click and collect service so you can still call in at an arranged time to collect your items in person.

We will also still be buying stock in as usual so please continue to contact us with anything you’re looking to sell. Please feel free to make an appointment to call into our new relaxing office space where you can chill out with a free hot or cold drink and play on our consoles, play darts or even have a game of pool whilst you wait for us to price your items up 🎮 🎯 🎱

Massive thanks to everyone for all the support since we first opened our doors and please continue to support us via our online store whilst we wait to move downstairs which we promise will be EPIC when completed!! 🤩

We’re open until 12-4pm today and tomorrow 🎮

Excuse the mess at the min we’re making some alterations to the shop to improve everyone’s visit and allow us to display a larger range of stock including trading cards, warhammer, toys and merchandise 🙌🏼

SNES is my all time favourite console, I also enjoyed the Wii U and love the Switch. I’m looking forward to trying the Switch 2 eventually but gonna wait until there’s more games available for it!

Sorry but shop will be closed this weekend as I’m in Blackpool for my sons end of season tournament and I couldn’t get any cover for the shop. We’re back open as normal from Monday 12-4pm, apologies in advance for any inconvenience caused.

Some good news though, with there being a delay at the min with the work on the new units downstairs we’ve decided in the meantime to take on another space temporarily upstairs in one of the other offices to have a separate game room for pay & play sessions, kids club and birthday parties.

We will be reverting the shop back to how it was before with all the shelving and stock so will be plenty of gaming stuff on display to buy again, I’m sure this will make a lot of people happy 🙌🏼 🎮
