A huge thank you to everyone who took part in this year's Scarecrow Festival. Your creativity and enthusiasm made it another fantastic event.

We'd also like to thank Garstang Summer Festival for inviting us to be part of this year's festival. We think you'll agree it worked really well and helped make the weekend even more special.

A special thank you to Worzil Gummage and Aunt Sally for joining us over the weekend, and to Carrs Jewellers for generously sponsoring the trophies.

Finally, thank you to Colin Cross Printers for producing the trail maps at such short notice – your support was greatly appreciated.

Thank you once again to everyone who helped, sponsored, participated and visited. We couldn't do it without you, and we look forward to seeing you all again next year!

Although the date for the 2027 Scarecrow Festival hasn't been set yet, planning is already underway, and we'd love your thoughts on next year's theme.

From past experience, we've found that the more open the theme, the greater the variety, imagination and creativity on display. With that in mind, we're currently considering:

🎬 Movie Icons
📺 TV & Animation
🧚 Fairy Tales

What do you think? Which theme would inspire you to build a scarecrow? Or do you have another idea you'd like to suggest?
