Meet Andrew Roberts, who will be taking on the role of Sir Henry Baskerville… amongst others! 👀🎭

As the newest heir to Baskerville Hall, Sir Henry finds himself at the centre of a rather inconvenient family curse, a mysterious death and the small matter of a giant murderous hound roaming the moors. 🐕🌫️

But this is Baskerville, so one character simply wouldn’t be enough…

Andy will be popping up in several other guises along the way and we’re saying absolutely nothing about who, where or how! 🤫

Will Sir Henry survive the Baskerville curse?
Will you keep track of Andy’s many identities?

And rehearsals are now well and truly underway at Gainford Drama Club!

Behind the doors of Gainford Academy Theatre, the case is beginning to take shape. Lines are being learned, clues are being uncovered, characters are appearing at an alarming rate and our cast are discovering just how quickly it is humanly possible to become an entirely different person. 🎭😂

With a small cast, a LOT of characters and more frantic comings and goings than Baker Street at rush hour, we can safely say rehearsals are proving to be every bit as bonkers as the play itself.

Meanwhile, somewhere out on the moor… the hound is getting restless. 🐕🌫️

But the biggest mystery of all?

There are few partnerships quite like Sherlock Holmes and Dr Watson.

One is a brilliant detective with an eye for detail, a mind like a steel trap and an uncanny knack for solving the impossible…

The other is Sherlock Holmes. 😉

Together, they’re about to tackle their most baffling case yet in Ken Ludwig’s Baskerville: A Sherlock Holmes Mystery and let’s just say things are about to get a little… doggy. 🐕🌙

Expect mystery.
Expect mayhem.
Expect mistaken identities.
Expect more twists than a detective’s moustache.
And, naturally, expect Holmes to do the deducing while Watson does his very best to keep up!

We’re delighted to announce that our next production is…

🎭 KEN LUDWIG’S BASKERVILLE: A SHERLOCK HOLMES MYSTERY 🎭

Prepare yourselves for fog, foul play, fiendish clues and a hound of rather questionable intentions! 🐺

Sherlock Holmes and Dr Watson are on the case as they attempt to unravel the mystery of the legendary Hound of the Baskervilles. Expect twists, turns, suspicious characters, close shaves and plenty of laughs along the way.

It’s going to be elementary… although we suspect the plot may be anything but! 🔍
