Best Day Ever Part 1

So, yesterday I had the best day!

Firstly, I went to Dunkeswell Aerdrome for my first ever plane spotting expedition!!

I've always loved planes and helicopters, but in recent years I've fully allowed myself to get nerdy, learn more and feel that full joy and excitement I've quietened for most of my life (because it seemed weird, a boy/man thing).

I didn't see much as was there a bit late, but will definitely go back for more!

Whilst in Manchester, we went to see the thought provoking exhibition by Ai Weiwei

So much history, powerful pieces about Chinese history, colonialism, refugees....a history of bombs, names of over 5000 children killed in an earthquake in China that was never reported or investigated being spoken, an old wooden temple....

My photos absolutely do not do this exhibition justice,but I urge you to check out his work which also includes documentaries.
