The Cheese and Grain has always been passionate about giving grassroots and emerging artists a platform to perform, develop and grow. These artists are the lifeblood of the live music industry, yet many are facing unprecedented challenges in finding gig opportunities, reaching new audiences and building sustainable careers.

That's why we're taking our commitment even further with our most ambitious artist development programme to date.

We are delighted to be partnering with Arts Council England and working with some of the South West's leading grassroots venues on a new multi-year initiative that will create exciting opportunities for artists from across the region.

The programme will provide selected artists with paid live performances, professional recording studio time, opportunities to perform across multiple venues, and much more.

Join us next Sunday (2nd August) at 7pm as we reveal the first phase of this exciting new project.
