Well, what an absolute ball Listen Dance in Axbridge was a few weekends back!

From audience member Rob kicking off the night by doing the worm 😮👏 to the end of the night where the conga line went out into the street 🥳🕺we had a whale of time! Thanks so much to everyone who came along, to the incredible organisers & local volunteers Jude, Katie, John, Peter and heroes running the bar, and as ever, enormous thanks to our guest dance group Mrs B's Rock n Roll group led by Michelle Beasley who were fantastic and looked amazing in their outfits too!

We last performed at Axbridge Town Hall with a different show 14 years ago (!) and remembered it well as a place where the people really knew how to have a great time, so it was a joy to return and find that nothing had changed (and that, if anything, they were even more up for the party than before!), a wonderful place with wonderful people - thank you Axbridge!

Buuuuut our Somerset rural tour doesn't end there - We still have ONE MORE SHOW this weekend so if you've missed it so far be sure to come along THIS Saturday Oct 3rd to Langport!

Wow, huge thank you to the good folks of Castle Cary for coming out to Listen Dance on Saturday and making it such a wonderful night! What a fantastic and friendly atmosphere, with lots of people giving completely new dances a go and really getting into them, such a joy to see!

Huge thanks to the team at Caryford Community Hall (Helen, Mandy, Martin, Ian, David and the fantastic two ladies running the bar who's names I terribly failed to ask in the whirlwind of the night - but who's dancing in the kitchen amd homemade meringues brought extra smiles!)

And, of course, especial thanks to our amazing special guests for the evening Paul Parsons Dance and Somerfyr Morris (Tamsin Fessey, Mandy Eldred-Tyler and co) who taught us Samba and Border Morris with such expertise and care and FUN! We meet the BEST people doing this show, we can't thank you enough, you absolutely made the night! 🙏❤️

And next Saturday we do it all over again in Axbridge - this time with special guest local dance teacher Michelle teaching us Rock 'n' Roll! We can't wait!

Billy Ray is coming back!

That’s right, for those of you who caught our show ‘Mountain Music’ on tour back in either 2019 or 2023 you’ll be pleased to hear that Mr Cyrus will yet again be gracing us with his mullet-ed presence in our upcoming tour of Listen Dance (starting this Saturday!) - but this time leading us through some line dancing to his iconic country hit!

☀️Salisbury! Latitude! Wilderness!☀️

This bank holiday weekend we're saying a fond farewell to the long, hot summer that was. We had an absolute blast performing Listen Dance over July and August and it was so great to be back at music festivals again after such a long time away.

Huge thanks as ever to those who came along and candy-ed, ceilidh-ed, moshed and raved with us. Seeing happy humans and joyful bodies move to our music is always just the best sight to behold. Also huge love to our amazing team who were incredible as ever and, of course, huge thanks to Salisbury International Arts Festival, Wiltshire Creative, Latitude Festival & Wilderness Festival for having us! Fingers crossed for more outdoor festivals next year, these ones were epic!

BUT our Listen Dance journey for this year doesn’t end there!

Starting in just a fortnight's time we’re hugely excited to be taking a new version of the show, specifically for rural and community touring to our home county of Somerset with the wonderful Take Art!
