Tonight, at rehearsal we were overjoyed to welcome back Graham Ainsworth who we haven't seen at choir for over a year. Graham was on fine form and added his customary boost to our bass section.

Last time I saw Graham I'd offered him a lift home forgetting for a moment that he's 90 and my car at the time was an MX5. I thought getting out of it had killed him.

I'm pleased I'd not killed him. Welcome back, Graham!
