Zodiac Theatre Group are an award winning musical theatre society established in 1968, and members of NODA (National Operatic and Dramatic Association). We are a friendly, enthusiastic and professional group who welcome new members and supporters. We rehearse in Frodsham, Cheshire and perform shows twice a year in Cheshire. Our previous shows have included Oklahoma!, the high octane Hot Mikado, An
ything Goes, Carousel, Kiss Me Kate, Copacabana, Guys and Dolls, Me and My Girl, Avenue Q, our box office sell out Hairspray, and the crowd pleasing Boogie Nights the 70's Musical. Shows since 2020 Flashdance, The Wedding Singer, Beautiful the Carole King Musical, Elf, Fame and The Producers. We have also performed many musical montage shows over the years, including a Montage of Musicals in 2017 which was a musical extravaganza with songs from the 1930s to modern day, and Zodiac Gold in 2019, which took audiences on a spectacular journey through 50 years of our musical theatre history. Our next show is We Will Rock You in April 2026! We are always delighted to welcome new performing or supporting members and of course we love seeing members of our audience when we are able to see you again. Would you like to join us on stage? Can you sing? Can you dance? Do you want to join our backstage, front of house or business teams? Stage or musicals experience is not required, so come along and give it a try. However you choose to become involved, you will be sure to make some new friends and have a great time. You can become a member at any time and you will be first to hear about our news and upcoming events. In addition to weekly rehearsals, we organise a variety of regular social events! Members are always first to hear about auditions for our upcoming shows. Rehearsals are at Frodsham Community Centre. The Society meets every Thursday at 7:30 pm until 10:00 pm for general rehearsals, Tuesdays 7:30 pm until 10:00 pm for principals rehearsals, and Sundays for all close to show time.
