Maria Frances school of Dance Welcome to the Maria Frances School of Dance page All this is done with a family atmosphere. We teach ballet, tap, modern, acro, song and dance, street.

The Maria Frances school of dance was founded in 1987 and has grown into a large school with classes in Ambleside, Cockermouth, Keswick, Penrith, Whitehaven and Workington. The school has helped scores of dancers realise their dreams, and go onto full time dance training, professional careers, gain their teaching qualifications or just enjoy their favourite hobby. The principal and owner is Maria

Pattinson, with her talented teachers, Miss Catherine, Miss Melanie, Miss Romy, Miss Tanya, Miss Jess and Miss Emma. The school has an annual show at the Sands centre in Carlisle as well as holding exam and medal sessions throughout the year. The dancers have the opportunity to take part in scholarships, troupe competitions, pantomimes and lots more. Please contact us for more information.
