🎺🥂 With Whit Friday in full swing, Freckleton Band raises a glass to all the competing bands. Good luck! 🍀

This year, we're skipping the potholes, avoiding dropped music, and dodging the awkward angles of playing to caravan windows. Instead, we're enjoying the festivities in style and can't thank all the participating bands enough for making this the greatest free show on Earth!

🌟 Best of luck to all the bands, but we're sending extra positive vibes to our friends at neighbouring bands—you know who you are! 🎶 🎵

🎺 Exciting New Signing Announcement. 🎺

We’re thrilled to welcome the exceptionally talented Joseph Glew as our new Principal Cornet! At just 16, Joe is already making waves in the brass band world, and we are excited for him to bring his energy and experience to our team.

Joe’s musical journey began at the tender age of 7 with the Red Admiral Music Academy, and he has since blossomed under the guidance of Daniel Brooks and more recently the teachings of Andrew Lofthouse.

His accolades include leading Red Admiral to a National Finals spot and clinching the "Most Outstanding Player" award. Joe has also shone brightly with the Lancashire Youth Brass Band, Elland Silver Youth Band , and graced prestigious venues with The National Youth Brass Band of Great Britain .

Recently Joe has gained valuable experience with the famous Leyland Band that has put him in good stead to become our Principal Cornet!

As Joe prepares to study Music Performance and Music Production A Levels at Cardinal Newman College , we’re excited to support his continued growth and look forward to many memorable performances together.

🎶✨ Last night's Freckleton Youth Band concert at St Margaret's Church in Ingol was an absolute blast!

Sharing stage with the AMAZING ShowChoir NW is always such a special event and a highlight of our year! ❤

The venue was buzzing and as ever, packed to the rafters!

👏🥳 Well done to Freckleton Youth who continue to make the rest of the band VERY proud!
