It is with great sadness that I announce that Unapologetic Studios / Lucie Summers Dance Ltd will cease trading from 27th May 2023. Our final day of classes will be 26th May. 😢
It has been a truly incredible 9 years and this has been a very difficult decision to reach. I have absolutely loved having my own dance school and studio but unfortunately since my surgery in 2021, my body now has physical limitations which require further surgeries in the future and has meant that I don’t have the same physical health to allow me to work at the capacity as a dance teacher as I’d have liked to.
Although this will be very sad news for many, the good news is that Charlize, who has been teaching the majority of my classes over the past 2 years, will be moving into the studio and starting her own dance school - Harmony dance studios! ✨
I am delighted to be able to pass the baton on to Charlize and very excited for all the plans she has for her school!!
She will be beginning classes from 29th May and can be contacted at [email protected] to book spaces in classes. All students at Unapologetic Studios have been emailed with this information and can request to have their details passed on by myself - please see email.
Charlize has been working on choreography in classes and will continue these in her own, working towards a show or video before the end of the school year. This is a great opportunity to be involved in a performance!!
It has been a whirlwind 9 years and I’m so proud of everything achieved in that time - I have loved the journey!! It’s the end of an era but I am excited to start my own new chapter. Thank you all for your support over the years, it will never be forgotten.
