We are delighted to have hub member Conrad Ziebland ( ) join us to talk about his photography journey over the last 50 years and to share stories about his family’s history with photography 📷

This event will also be the launchpad for the new monthly PHOTOGRAPHY GROUP, a friendly, non-competitive space to explore any and all aspects of photography whether you’re an enthusiastic novice or expert, there is something for everyone to learn.

🍂 SEPTEMBER AT QUAY ARTS HUB 🎨
As summer starts to wind down, we’re getting ready for a creative September at the Hub.

There’s plenty happening this month, starting with our ever-popular Gelli Plate Printing workshop, followed by another Shadow Painting Community Session.
We’re also excited to host our first ever Photography Talk with Conrad Ziebland, before exploring Painting from Photos later in the month.

And, of course, the return of two Hub favourites - Games Night and Poetry Group.

Our regular Members Wednesdays are back too, a chance to come along, get creative and spend time with fellow Hub members.

☀️ August at The Hub - Great to see the village so busy! 🏊🏻 🦀 🎣 👙 🍺 ☀️

We’ll be open throughout the summer with volunteer-led opening hours, so if you see our doors open, come in! Browse artwork by local artists, discover handmade cards, find out what’s on, or simply say hello.

Residents artist Louise Kidd is running workshops every Wednesday. Please email or pop in to secure your space.

Hub members & local artists Sarah & Annie are hosting our second community Shadow Painting class on Saturday 21st - 2-4pm. Book early!!!

🫙 A huge thank you to everyone who joined us for our Gut Health & Kombucha Workshop!

It was a fascinating afternoon learning about the gut microbiome, separating fact from fiction, and discovering just how simple it is to brew your own kombucha at home.

We were delighted that so many of you took home a kombucha starter kit, so it looks like there’ll be plenty of home brewing happening around Polruan over the coming weeks! 🍵✨

A special thank you to Beatrix for sharing her knowledge and hosting such an engaging workshop. We’re incredibly grateful that all proceeds from the workshop and starter kit sales were donated to Quay Arts Hub to support our community space.

Happy brewing - and don’t forget to let us know how your first batch turns out! 🫧💛
