As having a studio in very old cottage near river I find it takes time for the pottery to fully dry out. Don’t get me wrong I love everything about this place & feel privileged to have stunning views in cosy little village. But the practical side being potter is a bit disappointing. It always takes ages for the pottery to dry so after 2.5 years living here I discovered I can put the leather hard pottery on good old Rayburn 🤦🏼‍♀️🤣 and it’s takes a day to get kiln dry bisque. Every day is school day! Right!?🤣🤣🙈 #

Once the texture is added, I’ve defined the more organic edges by cutting of unnecessary clay. Adding more flow & natural look! The best part is,I haven’t made any sketches or drawings so it all free hand, in the moment! 😬Can’t wait to see the final result😝🤞
