Breathing life into metal, creating something from nothing. Smashing steel into shape with passion I'll have a go at making anything! the van was my teacher!

SOMETHING FROM NOTHING...

I'll be found in my shed of junk :)

I love new projects! Putting myself out of our comfort zone helps to keep the BUZZ of creation alive :D

I mostly use scrap metal but also use nice new shiny stuff too! and so far haven't had a disappointed customer! It all started after i had a serious motorbike accident. i bought myself a vw camper and a welder! with some scrap i began welding to practice for the van! i put a couple pieces together and saw something special.. in the end my welding became decent and i was still picking the scrap for fun! and making all sorts of weird things! i even made log burners from gas bottles. people started to come to me and ask me if i could make them this or that.. thats when i decided to try and make something of the skill i have. The greatest part of making something is to see the reaction people have around it...! My favorite reactions so far have been to the iron giant! the children love it! i even find adults reliving childhood staring!! BUT i am business and to succeed so i need to sell!!! SO IF YOU LIKE WHAT YOU SEE THEN BUY IT!! (if you want :) or get in contact for something you might like making? I make all sizes! and im in the process of working with wood too, oak barrel furniture and even combining wood with metal sculptures as you may see in the industrial tree made for culture day. Im a pretty chilled out and easy chap down here at SFN! and enjoy meeting new folk! So please get in touch for a chat! Regards, Lucas

A little Christmas present this year. Grey squirrel goes red! Last pictures show it's transformation to a rusty red 😁 it's the second squirrel I have made, this time a little bigger and a little more detail!

Big Ben is almost complete... A little face work, some hair to grow and gaps to fill! He's looking soooo good now I am incredibly pleased with him.

It's been a busy year but I've found some downtime to get on with him 😊 soon he will be Finnished and looking for somewhere to goooo 😯

Sorry if it's the same old pics of a horse for you but he's taken me so long 😂

Merry Christmas 🎄

Alright... So it was staged... But only after I had a moment actually standing there thinking omg how can you work this many hours for nothing! So many things to do and the light seems far away! I quite like the idea of being able to see 6 months ahead to see what I did... But where would the head scratching and fun be in that! Lucky, big Ben.. neglected and not Finnished always perks me up especially after rehoming me beloved iron giant. It'll all be worth it in the end min!! Happy Thursday people!

So they've had a great time at threaplands garden centre but now the sheep have moved for some greener grass.. They were welcomed with open arms to the wool mill 😋 I'm not sure if they've cottoned on to the fact their wool is wire 🫣 they can now be viewed on part of the tour at johnstons of elgin 😁

Thankyou to jenny and Kevin for making this an easy movement 😇

And here is table number 2! Made from an old cake crusher... For the coos! Sadly I could sell it after restoring it and I need space so I turned it into a wonderful base for a beautiful table. I really love these tables 😎 they'd be perfect for a funky cafe or pub or even someone's house! Booyae!

Tuddeeeerrrr! The old grain bruiser leads a new life
😁

Foot repaired rather nicely if I say so myself.. Can't even tell! Frame made and wood fixed booyar! A good chunky piece of Douglas fur 70mm!! Chunky lad! And a really handy shelf below 😮

This is a beautiful big table which could sit quite a few!

Thanks to Dave for supplying and cutting the wood for me! With great advice for treating it. This table wouldn't look half as good without his help!

For sale soooon. 😎 See yourself sat at this? Get in touch!? Maybe you'd like some funky ass chairs made for it!

Found in a heap of soil and rubbish buried for decades... It's just a piece of old cast right? Should just throw it in the scrap bin yee? Well it is broken.. What else could you do with it!? Ahhh well... I guess I could try and make something...
