A few of our Yarn Bombers did a switch during September, and instead of creating Yarn Bombing displays for next year, they made 130 knitted poppies which they’re donating to the Formby branch of the Royal British Legion for their Remembrance Day fundraising campaign in the village.
Thanks go to Councillor Karen Cavanagh for getting in touch with us and asking, on behalf of RBL, if we’d help out (which of course we would….such an incredibly important and worthwhile charity x)
So…THANK YOU to all involved ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️

We are delighted to have been able to help, albeit in a very small way 😊
Well done to everyone involved- we certainly know how much hard work, effort and time it takes to put together such a fab display: HUGE round of applause to all involved 🙌🙌🙌

For a lucky few of our group, what an AMAZING day spent at Cosby Yarn Bomb……their yarn-fest is out for 3 weeks so if you get the chance you really must go!!
This year’s theme is Around the World in 80 displays: every one is stunning, witty, clever and inspirational - and has given us lots of ideas for day next year 😉😉🧶🧶🧶🧶🧶
