The Process of Beginning Anew (2025)

My final work of 2025 marks the beginning of a new body of work. I completely cleared my studio at the end of the year and the first few weeks of 2026 have been taken up with making and preparing canvases ready for exploring the deep within. A lot more to come.

There are no rules.

An honour to have two of my works showing at my local (The Meffan) in Forfar for their Winter Show. It was a pleasure to go to the opening last night, chat to people and meet some familiar faces from my art journey. The curitorial team have done a stellar job displaying all of the artworks. The Winter Show continues on until January 12th.

I just wanted to say thank you to the wonderful Hidden Door team and all those who attended this year's festival. What a great success. I felt very fortunate to be a part of such a huge event in our capital.

As both contributor and attendee, I was genuinely blown away by the venue, the brilliant Hidden Door team, and all the wonderful artists on display. It was a real kick seeing so many look at, and comment on my work.

I can thoroughly recommend the experience both as an artist and attendee for any and all future Hidden Door events. I hope to be back one day myself.

My latest work, 'Feeder' tackles contradictions inherent in political rhetoric and societal systems, particularly as they relate to immigration and the plight of refugees.

Currently on show at at the old Paper Factory at Turnhouse Road in Edinburgh. Last day tomorrow!
