This piece is called Common Ground. It celebrates the enduring relationship between people and the Ashdown Forest. A circle of figures holding hands embraces the woodland, symbolising our shared responsibility to protect and care for this cherished landscape. The work reflects the Sussex spirit of standing together in defence of the common land, expressing belonging, resilience, and our deep connection to the natural world.
It will be part of the Exhibition WE WUNT BE DRUV
Lewes Corn Exchange, 5th - 6th September 2026.
