This piece is called Common Ground. It celebrates the enduring relationship between people and the Ashdown Forest. A circle of figures holding hands embraces the woodland, symbolising our shared responsibility to protect and care for this cherished landscape. The work reflects the Sussex spirit of standing together in defence of the common land, expressing belonging, resilience, and our deep connection to the natural world.
It will be part of the Exhibition WE WUNT BE DRUV
Lewes Corn Exchange, 5th - 6th September 2026.

This is one of my favourite cups I’ve made in the last couple of months: Foxglove Girl with Bees. Hand-drawn and decorated with underglazes, then coated with a transparent glaze and wax resist before the cup is immersed in a green glaze. I love the way the layers of decoration and glaze interact to create depth and detail. 🐝

This vase got a lot of attention at Made Wi******er last week. I actually observed this orange tip butterfly resting on one of our tulips in the garden when I was decorating the vase. I took photos of it. It was the first time I saw this type of butterfly in our garden and it filled me with joy. The vase was sold there and my head is full of ideas about vases, flowers and insects. My next show is at Penshurst Village Hall. From the 6th to the 14th of June.
Hope to see you there.
