Earlier this week I revisited this gallery for and I was transported back to that gentle early morning over a year ago. I love how photography and time work together in this way.

The gentle footing as the ground was settling into her autumnal slumber, the light as it rose through the trees and the softness in the connection between women. A beautiful time. 🌿

One beautiful morning in May we were here on the land close to heart, celebrating dear friends in their handfasting ceremony. Surrounded by loved ones, the trees and the sounds of drums it was something incredibly special and witnessing their blessing gave me huge hope in my own heart.

Sarah and Adam, with your inspiring love and connection may it be so that you always have one another to hold. Thank you for your trust with this and for years of friendship beyond. A very special celebration. 🌿

It isn’t often I’m somewhere other than home at 8.30 in the morning, but a few days ago I found myself here at with lovely host and I’m still smiling about it! 🌼

I am so glad that special spaces like this are popping up across Sussex and Kent, a place where one can choose blooms and meet the growers and florists who have planted and nurtured them. It’s connection isn’t it, in all ways.

Heart medicine, in all ways with dearest Rosie.

A joyous time spent with Rosie in her beautiful spring garden, talking about connection with the plants as she gathered, and connection with ourselves. As always in time spent with my lovely friend, there were some gentle reminders for me to sit with and to continue bringing into my self, and my work.

This wonderful woman is inviting in beautiful things and I smile in my heart to watch it all open and flourish!

I have always had a deep love for the month of May and after Beltane and a dance with the green men it is in my nature to continue dancing long into summer, and by midsummer I can be forced into early rest. I’m treading gently this season and hand on heart, wish to move slowly and stay connected to my self, and the ground. This session is a reminder of the beauty that can come from that place.

Last summer I was invited to photograph Katie () and the group of women tending to the sauna at Wild Spa Wowo Wowo Campsite and with it I was invited into connection and remembrance. A softness within each act of this ceremonial work, from gathering together in silence and song, observing the meditative practice of the women crafting whisks and the tenderness of caring for one another’s bodies and bringing their time together full circle. A beautiful time.
