This month, we spoke with digital artist Boid, known for his punchy colour palettes, irreverent humour, and unapologetically bold compositions.

Q. What is the best (or worst) piece of artistic advice you’ve been given?

A. “The best advice I’ve been given is: ‘Think big.’ It’s simple, dangerous, and brilliant. It’s my go-to.
The worst advice? ‘Only make what sells.’ (Translation: don’t follow your gut!?)”

‘Cock O’ The North’ showcases Anthony’s exceptional talent for bringing British wildlife to life with striking realism and rich texture. One of the great pleasures of being based in the New Forest is encountering all the animals roaming freely across its heathland and woodland landscapes, especially the cows 🐄
