Woodgreen Village Hall A resource for the local community. We regularly host parties, classes, weddings, and meetings for Woodgreen residents and the surrounding community.

Located in the North West corner of the ‘New Forest National Park’, Woodgreen hides a secret. Opened in 1931, the village hall outwardly is a rather typical example of community buildings of that era. However, when you enter the main hall you are greeted by something special and unique which is the reason the hall has a Grade 2 listing. Inside, the internal walls from dado rail to ceiling have bee

n decorated with murals depicting village life as it was in the 1930s. Woodgreen Village Hall is a unique venue to stage various events. The murals form a stunning backdrop for that special day – weddings – craft shows – parties – business seminars, etc. The village hall provides good parking, a sheltered sunny rear patio and a grassed area to the rear suitable for marquees. The facilities include a well-appointed kitchen, banquet chairs and tables and a PA system with fitted induction loop.

On Friday 11 December, the wonderfully unconventional Budapest Café Orchestra bring their dazzling musical travels to Woodgreen Village Hall!
Led by renowned jazz violinist Christian Garrick, these snappily dressed musicians mix Balkan folk, Hungarian melodies, and beautiful ballads into an exhilarating evening—with a few surprises along the way. Think Budapest café atmosphere, incredible musicianship and feet that may refuse to stay still.

Move over, BBC… Woodgreen Village Hall TV is coming to Facebook and Nextdoor. We’ve got a globe, fancy titles and some genuinely illuminating news. 🌍✨
Our first episode? A tale of dramatic exits and dazzling entrances as the old hall lighting bows out and the new system takes centre stage—just in time for our New Lighting Celebration: WOOD VEGAS NIGHT on 17 October! 🎰💃 Tickets fom our friends at the Woodgreen Community Shop!

Here’s a little taste of Let There Be Swing, proving that you don’t need Las Vegas, a grand ballroom—or even a roof—to put on a fabulous show!

On Saturday 17 October, they’ll be swapping the flowerbeds for the bright lights of Woodgreen Village Hall, bringing us an irresistible evening of Sinatra, Dean Martin, Michael Bublé and plenty more.
