🚨 FINAL ANNOUNCEMENT 🚨

Here they are – the last 7 artists completing our Compass Festival 2025 line-up! 45 IN TOTAL 🤯

✨ Alt-pop brilliance from Brighton’s Aakira Fae; Country vibes all the way from Australia (via Hythe) with BetiFya; Electronic-pop solo set from Ashford’s Danama; New soul & hip hop, London via Canterbury with Eneeks; hardcore punk returns! Folkestone OGs Escucha, live in town for the first time in 10 years (?!); indie & alt-rock bangers from Brighton’s Fever Rouge; acoustic punk from Dover’s own Wolfe Sunday, back in Folkestone after far too long.

💬 From me, Geri – founder, producer, and programmer of Compass Festival:

I cannot tell you how proud I am of this line-up for our 2nd edition. It has been a huge amount of work, and right now I’m basically working 24/7 to bring this ambitious festival to life, helped along the way by many friends and kind souls.

This year’s line-up is:
- 100% independent and mostly DIY acts�
- Gender balanced: 23 female-led acts vs 22 male-led�
- Rooted in our region: all but 3 acts come from Kent or the South Coast

The breadth of talent is incredible. Alternative music is thriving here, and it has room to be so much bigger if we show up and support it!

On Fri 17th and Sat 18th October, all these acts will be in one place—Folkestone’s Creative Quarter—across 8 independent venues.

It’s a weekend for discovering your new favourite band, supporting the best of the grassroots scene, and soaking up some proper seaside music magic - Sign up to our mailing list for first dibs on tickets, going on sale next week 💥

Our festival this year may not be until October, but we’re kicking off the festivities for Compass Festival 2025 in a couple of weeks with a free night of live music, DJs, and good people as we take over Creative Folkestone QH Lates – whether you’re in a band, love discovering new artists from, or just want to be around others who care about the Kent and South East’s grassroots scene, this is your invite! We have lined up for you...
