Folkestone Harbour Arm

Folkestone Harbour Arm Reinventing the English Seaside Experience Folkestone’s Harbour Arm has swiftly become the beacon for the regeneration of Folkestone as a destination town.
(1)

Still in the early stages of its redevelopment, Folkestone’s Harbour Arm has rapidly become a food, drink and entertainment destination for the town and its visitors. Originally the railway terminal for the Folkestone- Boulogne Ferry and departure point for soldiers on their way to the Western Front, the arm still embraces the town’s working fishing harbour, becoming a pivotal point in the town’s

future and its historical past. Small, independent businesses along the pier give it its unique flavour, and its reputation is growing as restoration continues along the platform and across the railway bridge and beyond, with the addition of an onsite bakery and brewery, a regular farmer’s market and other seasonal events.

Celebrate dad this weekend!

Looking for ideas to treat your dad this Father’s Day, we have a few suggestions:

⛳This weekend why not challenge Dad to a round of Adventure Golf or a game of Shuffleboard at ? Winner buys the ice creams?

🫖If you’re looking for something more relaxed, has just launched a new afternoon tea experience in the brand-new Sip tearoom (advance booking required).

🎶Catch a gig and do some dad dancing. There is plenty of live music over the whole weekend. Including on the Harbour Arm Stage at 2pm or head to Harbourside for another at 4pm.

😋Grab lunch with the old man, there’s plenty of to choose from! What would your dad pick: Argentine steak at , a seafood platter at , a wood fired pizza at or something from our many independent street food traders.

Green Fairy 🧚 & Green Light 🟢

This week’s films are all about decadence and indulging, two of Baz Luhrmann’s most visually stunning films, that must be seen on the big screen at least once; Moulin Rouge! & The Great Gatsby.

Friday evening take a trip to Paris and the famous Red Windmill, then on Saturday head to the lavish setting of New York in the roaring twenties on the Harbour Screen.

With a great selection of independent Street food huts and Floc.Bar, pop down and support our FREE cinema and local businesses.
