OUR BEGINNING:

Lime Bar Cafe was the Biggest Little Music Venue With World Wide Reach! Over 650 Local, National and International music and events to date. Lime Bar Cafe was a favourite cafe bar music venue in Folkestone. Affectionately known as your local "third place" between home and work, What a small venue like Lime Bar Cafe did was simple but quite magical: in offering a dedicated space for music it allowed local bands to hone and question their sound, it permits audiences to hear touring acts they already love or that could radically change their perceptions. It granted a community a place where they can congregate, where music can bind them and develop their own projects outside Lime. It was a home for exploration, passion, rebellion, hope, solace, bewilderment and joy.

OUR DEVELOPMENT:

For over 3 years this process began to define a direction, and inform community projects, both for the local community and ourselves.
