🩵 WHAT TAP CLASSES DO WE OFFER AT JDS? 💙

From those very first sounds in tap shoes to graded training, performances and adult classes, there’s a place for everyone to tap at JDS!

✨ Primary Tap
A fun introduction to tap from age 4+, developing rhythm, musicality, coordination and those all-important foundations.

✨ ISTD Graded Tap
Progressive, structured training with qualified teachers, with classes for different ages and levels. Students can work towards internationally recognised ISTD examinations while developing technique, musicality and performance skills.

✨ Performance Opportunities
Tap isn’t just for the studio! Our dancers have opportunities to perform and put their training into practice on stage throughout the year.

✨ Adult Tap
It’s never too late to dance! Our adult classes are a fun and welcoming way to learn tap, keep active and enjoy dancing.

✨ Tapathon
We love taking part in the annual Tapathon — a brilliant nationwide event bringing tap dancers together while raising money for charity.

Whether you’re putting on tap shoes for the very first time, working through your grades or returning to dance as an adult, there’s a tap class for you at JDS.
