This morning setting up at the Postling Open Gardens event was a battle against the elements 😅 - my amazing husband Tim got seriously smart at fixing me sides on the gazebo with a tarpaulin! (Sideways rain wasn’t a good look ☔️🌧️)

But it was so British 🫖 and people came despite the rain had a lovely time drinking coffee, viewing the amazing gardens 🌷 and meeting all kinds of lovely local people.

I’m back there tomorrow from 12pm-5pm selling my artwork, with some brand new flower prints on display!

Do pop down and say hello ☺️- the weather is supposed to be better 🙏🏻🤞🏻✨ and the atmosphere is just wonderful. ✨🥰

Beautiful Flowers 🌷🌼🌺🌻🐝

I’m taking part in the Postling Open Gardens weekend event in three weeks time 🤩 - on 6 & 7 June - and because it’s all about beautiful gardens, I’ve revisited some of my paintings of flowers, birds and bees!

Which are your favourites?! I am planning on printing a few to sell at the event, and would love your help deciding. 🧐

Of course, I love them all. ✨ But because of a certain little girl who I love with my whole heart, I think the Irises are my favourite. 😍

I’ve been quiet so far this year. 🍂 It’s the time of hibernation and the earth is resting. 😌

But behind the scenes I’ve been slowly working on warming up my creativity. Playing with ideas and concepts for my new project. ✨ It’s all to do with grief and loss and helping children through it. 💪🏻

So I’ve been having fun illustrating again. Actually picking up my paintbrush and playing with paint. Not for any strong purpose yet, but to get ready for when the inspiration really strikes and it all starts to come together.

Inspiration comes to me a little like lightning. ⚡️ It’s never ever predictable when it might strike, but when it does you have to grab it quick or it disappears as soon as it comes!

This is my latest quick illustration and I thought you’d like to all see. 👀 ✨
