Special thank you to everyone that attended our Summer Ball Country Music & Dance Weekender at the Grand Burstin Hotel, Folkestone for our 10th anniversary of running these fantastic events.
We all had a brilliant time thanks to the amazing team at Cheyenne Promotions with the wonderful Brian and Julie (JB Western Dance) teaching some great partner dances, Cheryl Carter as our line dance instructor, DJ and MC extraordinaire, and our lovely Maureen Lincoln keeping us all in check, helping the whole event go so smoothly.
The artistes of course were the cherry on top and we were all delighted and entertained by the massive talents of Warren Dewitt, Nikki Jo Brown, Trey Jackson, Roots & Wings, Stubby, Rick Storm, and Darren Flack.
Last but most definitely not least was the audience themselves, who always create such a great atmosphere, embracing the camaraderie of our ever-growing festival family that has been built over the decades of these historical 35+ year old festivals at the Burstin, welcoming familiar faces and new friends alike. Each weekend just seems to get better than the last.
We are all looking forward to the next one now, 8-11 November, our highly popular Turkey & Tinsel Weekender. We anticipate this being our very best yet and is already heavily booked. Spaces are limited so we highly recommend you book as early as possible if you wish to join us.
Just to clarify, after a few suggestions for the fancy dress theme on the Saturday night, we will go with Pantomime Characters which I think will nicely complement the festive spirit to our November gathering.
