AUDITION
Ballo Arthur Pita is currently seeking dancers for an initial Research and Development (R&D) phase for a new large scale dance/theatre production of Peter Shaffer’s EQUUS, commissioned by Sadler’s Wells and English National Opera .

R&D period will take place 26th Aug to 8th Sept in central London. Performance dates TBC.

Description of opportunity:
We are specifically looking for individuals of all gender identities,
within the following groups:
Group 1
Ages 18+ ideally 6’ tall or above
Group 2
Ages 18+ (character playing age between 18 - 25) ideally 5’-5’7” tall
Candidates for this group must also be comfortable with scenes involving full nudity if they wish to be considered for the final production. In the events of the final production, an intimacy coordinator will be provided for the creation/performance period and additional measures will be taken to ensure the safety & comfort of selected performers.
FULL NUDITY WILL NOT BE REQUIRED FOR THIS R&D STAGE.
Group 3
Ages 35+ (character playing age 40 - 60)
Ideal candidates should possess excellent ballet and contemporary techniques, strong partnering skills, as well as a high level of acting ability and stage presence.
