Some exciting news from CineWyre this morning - we’re delighted to announce that our Google Maps listing is now live on the website and app!

This makes it easier than ever to plan your journey to the festival, and stay connected with our programme of screenings, Q&As, masterclasses and our full range of networking events every March here on the Wyre.

With the release of The Mandalorian & Grogu in UK cinemas - it felt apt to throw it back to our 2026 Awards & Networking night, when our friends at Discover Wyre brought a bit of the Star Wars universe to CineWyre with the brilliant Niamos Division cosplayers.

As we go through the 2027 Submissions Window, take some inspiration from some of our award-winners from this year - like our Best Documentary winner The Mood Swings, a powerful piece about an Irish social club who busted the stigma of schizophrenia.

Director Conor O'Mahony described CineWyre as an intimate festival with a big heart, and we welcomed him and the documentary's star Richard Magee to the Marine Hall back in February to screen the short.
