Join these fun workshops to make your own sign or book. Small group sessions for a great day out visiting an artists studio-for beginners or experienced artists. Try the 'Endangered Crafts' of Sign Painting, Bookbinding and Letterpress printing.

What an amazing end to our Art & Science Residency 🙌🏻

Huge thanks to everyone that has taken part over the last tweleve months and to all the lovely people that came to see us today, it was a really special event!
A fantastic celebration of our amazing town and the folk that live here 💙

Tina's book seagull.sardine.etchings has arrived 🙌🏻
All set for the end of residency celebration this Saturday 11-4pm at The Mount Pavilion!

The book is an archive of the last twelve months exploring the place and its people 💙

The book will be gifted to everyone Tina & Lisa The Two a.m. Press have worked with during their residency and there will be some available to buy for £6 with proceeds being split between the wonderful NCI Fleetwood & RNLI Fleetwood

Lisa's beautiful book 'A Fleetwood Herbarium' will also be available on the day.

We have live music by local folk singer Mike Fairclough at 1pm & 2pm and of course there will a brew and some biccies x

A fabulous afternoon at The Pavilion this afternoon making paper wild roses and apple blossom with Val Hesketh which was inspired by a brilliant talk, The Language of Flowers in the Victorian Era by Sharon's Gardening Snippets

Daisies signified youth & purity.
Crocuses sent a message of cheerfulness & youthful gladness.
Wild roses were all about pleasure and pain!

2-4pm Val Hesketh will be showing us how to make apple blossom & dog roses from paper 🙌🏻

Our Next Workshop is now 'Nature Books' Family Creative Book Making session RESCHEDULED to 1-3pm Tuesday August 8th at Fleetwood Library.

Join us for this easy book making workshop using some traditional skills in printing and binding on the theme of Nature Books using local botanicals as inspiration!

Mapping Workshop
Saturday 15th July

Mount Pavilion

As an artist Tina navigates spaces by collecting things; specimens, colours, sounds, textures, patterns. All these things brought together create a map, a personal, responsive map.

The workshop will start with a wander around the Mount Gardens, bring your waterproofs, gathering data, then we'll spend the rest of the session in the pavilion making our maps using a range of materials & techniques.

All ages welcome, no booking required and it's free!
