IPMS Farborough Modelfest 2026

20/09/2026

On behalf of the Modelfest team, I would like to thank you for attending our show yesterday.

From our perspective, it was a very successful show, and that is in no small part down to all of you who took the time to attend and support us. Without our traders, exhibitors, clubs, and visitors there simply wouldn't be a show, so we really do appreciate your support.

We hope you had an enjoyable and successful day, and that you enjoyed your time at Modelfest. We look forward to seeing you again on the show circuit in the future.

For your diaries, next year's IPMS Farnborough Modelfest will be held on Saturday 18th September 2027.

Thank you once again for your support and attendance. We hope to see you all again next year!

One last post of a video of the IPMS Farnborough table at this years ModelFest which for some reason FB prevented me from posting in amongst the photos.

Had to do a second post of what was on show at ModelFest today as couldn’t post anymore on the original one. So let’s crack on.

Well a grand day out was had by all at this years ModelFest today. Lot to see and lots of things to help empty your pockets of its cash. Really successful all round. Public footfall was well up on last year with us just being shy by 26 of reaching 500 visitors. Big thank you and a well done to all those the helped make this show a good day out from the visiting clubs and all the traders that attended. A special big thank you to our sponsors Revell UK and Modelworx and all the helpers that came and set out the show and run it throughout the day as well as those that also stayed to help take all the tables and chairs back down. Well done the organising team for an excellent and sometimes stressful time giving us this awesome day.

Now if you have time have a scan through the photos taken throughout the day to get the flavour of the show.

Set up underway at the Hart Leisure Centre, Fleet for tomorrows IPMS Farnborough’s ModelFest 2026. Big space needing lots of tables and chairs. Big thank you to those that planned and made all the arrangements for this show to happen and all those that turned up tonight to help set all this up including those traders that turned up early and lent a hand as well. Thanks everybody! Some set up photos to show the scale of the show area and its layout from empty hall to being filled with tables. No small task.

If you need tools, glues and a myriad of other sundries and models for your stash projects then pop along and see Rob on your mooch around the traders who will be set up all along the sides of the show venue. If you’re like the rest of us I know you’ll do one or more laps of the traders so happy restocking.

Always a good selection of model available from this trader run by Simon and his team. Has a shop in Addlestone and if planning a visit to the shop the best place to park is the large car park opposite belonging to Tesco and walk across to the shop on the opposite side of the road. I know this information has been posted before but as a club we are very pleased with the attendance of the Revell UK team at this years ModelFest with the added bonus that they are one of our main sponsors this year. They will be displaying both current and new products that are in the pipeline so have a look at the photos from the Avon show which highlights so of the new ones and especially test shots the Harrier that hopefully they will bring with them and they welcome everyone to come and see them at their stand. Fantastic addition to this years show.
