Hello hello, long time no see! :D I am starting a series of new workshops, they will be all online - starting this coming week! See if these statements resonate with you - if they do, there's a high probability you'll probably enjoy what I'm offering:

You are interested in ways you can connect to yourself and others in an authentic way.

You are interested in self growth and you would like to be more you in every possible way.

You have a big imagination but feel like there isn't an appropriate space to bring it out.

Someone told you long time ago that you can't do art (paint/sing/act/draw/you name it) and you feel kinda blocked to express yourself that way though you would really like to.

You like to play games (like children do) and you have thoughts around how lovely it would be if adulting wouldn't be so awfully serious most of the time.

You like to move and you like being connected to your body.

You are a lover of art.

You can get your ticket through Eventbrite: https://www.eventbrite.com/e/creative-connection-connected-creativity-taster-workshop-tickets-179543969847?utm_source=eventbrite&utm_medium=email&utm_campaign=post_publish&utm_content=shortLinkNewEmail&fbclid=IwAR0q8TGOOTGm64m3dQPI9nYJtFL20hWvBf1mwMZJRwdcRb1VslVm_O5Xg8w

There are three taster workshops in October, warmly invited! Yaaay :) :) :).

A space that will support you in your self expression through different arts while staying in connection with yourself and others.

A LITTLE UPDATE

First of all thank you to all who have visited the page at any point since March this year.

I've been quiet for a long time on here because my life has made some really weird and mostly very unexpected turns. I imagine I am not alone in this (high five to all of us for making it this far).

For most of it I wasn't really in the right space to offer anything and if there were times when I thought I was, I wouldn't dare to facilitate. I wasn't able to hold space.

The most recent change that has influenced my life profoundly is I have once more become a student. I am fully immersed in a creative arts therapy studies course and on my way to become an art therapist. To be on this path is something I have dreamt about for many years.

As for SillySerious I am gaining momentum. I am taking things in (the course is amazing) and planning things for 2021.

I hope you are well reading this and hopefully see you soon.

With much love,
Nina.

Unfortunately both events are now being postponed until further notice. Hopefully see you in the not too distant future. 🌼🌺🌸

ATTENTION ATTENTION – VERY IMPORTANT POST
Sooo..I'm one of those people who didn't really take this virus situation all that seriously...until basically this week. Unfortunately, it seems it is rather serious. That said, I do not feel like canceling my events because of it. So unless there is some sort of government ban or something both sharing circle and sillyserious sounding orchestra workshop are still fully on and happening. I think these kind of events are maybe more needed now than ever. Obviously let's wash our hands before gathering etc.. I deeply feel these sort of situations - although it almost seems like they were brought upon us to separate us even further - can be a great opportunity to actually bring us closer, show mutual support, kindness and understanding. If we like it or not, we are all in this together. So let's make our way through this the best way we can. Much love to everyone.πŸ’›

I really like the symbolism of a circle, the associations I get when I tune into it. Obviously I like a sharing circle but circle by itself gives me a sense of something that can be open or closed, something that can invite me to come in, something that can hold, protect, include, embrace; but also exclude and maybe even smother? If a circle is too closed then I feel the urge to break free. There's also this relationship between me as an individual and the group as a whole, as something bigger than me. For me it's a lot about feeling safe and accepted, deeply. The circle also reminds me of playfulness, of marbles and balls, it brings up a fond memory of a theatre training that I attended where a circle meant a warm up; just standing in a circle somehow equalled a game or getting into it, or into a sense of it at least. Everyone in the circle was unspokenly invited to play and there was this presence of lightness that comes when the rules are not set too tight - the game, whatever it is, cannot be played in the wrong way. Ah...I am sighing deeply writing this, feeling warmth around my heart and a wish, a craving for more playfulness in my life. What comes to your mind when you think about a circle?

I'm taking myself way too seriously - this is my antidote. Enjoy :D.

I know for a lot of us mondays are all about doing very serious work but since the evening is slowly streching it's cosy unshaved legs towards us - let's treat ourselves with some taking-it-easy-less-serious time.
